The 2025 PKF Kendons Graduate Development Programme has been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and plenty of fun along the way! Over seven months, our grads have built solid foundations for their careers in accounting— while making great connections across PKF.

Kicking Off in Wellington

In February, we launched with a three-day conference —including two exciting days at Xero’s head office in Wellington.

The highlight? An escape room challenge for our first team-building event. Nothing like being locked in a room to test communication, problem-solving, and teamwork!

Learning from the Best

Throughout the programme, we welcomed expert guests who brought their knowledge (and inspiration) to our grads:

  • Xero → the future of cloud accounting.
  • Sumday → why ESG and sustainability reporting matter.
  • Spotlight Reporting → forecasting and smarter decision-making.
  • TMNZ → flexibility in managing tax payments.
  • iPayroll → payroll compliance made simple.
  • Unleashed → inventory management in action.
  • ProjectWorks → project resourcing and job management.
  • ApprovalMax → streamlined workflows and approvals.
  • CA ANZ → The CA designation and a commitment to lifelong learning and development.
  • PKF Kendons team members → providing career advice and insights on how to manage work life balance.

Keeping the Momentum

Between February and September, our grads joined fortnightly momentum calls. These check-ins kept energy levels high, provided space to reflect, and gave grads the confidence to put new skills into practice.

Celebrating Success

We wrapped up the programme with a graduation afternoon tea — a well-deserved celebration of everything our grads achieved.

Looking Ahead

The 2025 Grad Programme has been all about growth, connection, and fun. Our grads now step into the next stage of their careers with stronger skills, wider networks, and a big dose of confidence.

We can’t wait to see where they go next!
