During lockdown, the Kendons team continued to work from home, and virtual meetings became the norm. Post lockdown, around 30% of our team are working from home on any given day and there are more virtual meetings with clients.
The upside of this change was the need for new technology. Kendons clients now have the ability to sign documents online (which has been warmly welcomed), and webinars are a common occurrence in the education calendar.
However, these physical changes are only a small part of the overall change for Kendons.
More than ever, there is a greater focus on Continuity and Recovery Planning with clients. Kendons has increased capacity in this area to serve and support more clients.
Continuity and Recovery planning is incredibly important right now to ensure possible ‘red flags’ are raised before they become ‘problems’. Examples of red flags may be; a cash shortfall, resourcing issue or tough business decisions that need to be made before they become a problem. Read more about Coping with Uncertainty.
Businesses are working with Kendons closely on support and planning as opposed to business as usual. Because, as we know, it is not business as usual right now.
